Steem Pong Game — Score of 900+ after 3 trials

This game is just like or similar to classic arcade games like Pong and Brick Breaker, and it is a very interesting and focused game at that. Initially I was given 10 lives to play it; mathematically it looks very big, but in the particular game it’s just too small; therefore, you really need all the focus in this world to protect those lives.

My initial try of the game was full of confidence, thinking it’s going to be an easy ride, but to my greatest surprise I scored just 43, and I was shocked as to why. Then I started playing gradually, and I was mastering the game little by little till I got my highest score of the day, which is 919 points. I was so happy and excited 💃💃 when I got that, and my aim now is to reach 1000 points.

I made use of one simple strategy to arrive this far, and that was to keep my eyes on the ball and pay less attention to the coins, which was my initial challenge.

Losing the first two lives was frustrating but still manageable. It reminded me that you can stumble early but still come back strong. By the time I lost 7 lives, though, it was more intense. The pressure increased, and so did the mistakes. I became overly reactive and less precise.

When I lost all 10 lives, I didn’t feel dead, but I definitely felt conquered in a funny, humbling way. No matter how good you are, slipping up is part of the process.

My biggest mistake was losing focus during mid-game. I relaxed too early, assuming I had things under control.

In the end, I lost because I underestimated the pace and let distractions get to me. This game clearly demands total focus and quick reaction. It's a test of timing, hand-eye coordination, and patience. One small mistake and you’re off the edge. Just like life, you’ve got to stay sharp, focused, and always ready for the unexpected bounce.
