Merchandise and Gifts | Own A Piece Of My Art
So today my family and I decided to stay home and not going anywhere. Sounds boring, I know, but it's the middle of the month and we are concerned that if we go out too much this weekend, we will have to stretch our money in order to last till the end of the month. And also my birthday is coming really soon and we want to save for that special occassion.
I spent most of today by updating my online stores. I have neglected them for about a year to focus on developing my art skills and taking more side gigs like portrait commission. I don't want to stretch myself too thin by juggling too many things at one time. Even though I didn't update them for so long, these stores still earn me some tiny passive income from time to time.
I have set up stores at three different sites; Redbubble - this is gear towards my international fans, whereas CreativeUnited and Printcious are Malaysia based sites and cater more for my local fans.
All three sites have all kinds of products with my art/designs printed on them - tshirts, pillows, mugs, badges, tote bags, wall decors, gadget cover/skins and many more. Ahh, I've been contemplating about starting up a redbubble myself but I'm still contemplating(also not that confident in my art...) Have any tips/advice for it if I ever do decide to make one? Also ello fellow Sarawakian! You have great art~
Thank you @thilah and hey fellow Sarawakian! Eh, your art is good enough already lah. Keep it up. My advice is to just do it. Really. Don't think too much. Try one design first and slowly add more designs. Sometimes it's not about the design. It's about how persistent you are in marketing your products. I am sure there are people out there who are into your style and you need to make them aware of your existence LOL.
