The Diary Game [09/08/2025] // Busy Weekend

in Steem Cameroonyesterday

Steem greetings guys from the motherland, Cameroon. It's yet another session with me to share my daily lifestyle content with you all. It was a busy and stressful weekend for me. It was not my usual weekend for shopping, doing house chores, and vibing, but I was so busy cooking for a family meeting.

The previous night, I had little or no proper rest, which kind of disturbed my health during the day. From my face, one could easily detect that I was not well healthwise, but I had no choice but to prepare food for the family meeting.

The meeting was to start at 9:00 AM and breakfast was fried rice with fried chicken. I had prepared all the ingredients the previous day and also fried the chicken which made the cooking of the rice easy for me though I was not able to meet up with the time due to my poor health.

At one point I could not continue with the cooking because I was feeling weak and having a headache. My mother-in-law had to take over the kitchen to continue with the cooking while I bathed and rested for a while before the meeting started.

It was also my kid sister’s graduation day at the University of Kigali as she graduated with a master's degree in financial management. It was a joyful day in the family as we all were excited with her. She was lucky to have some family members there to celebrate with her.

I was supposed to attend the graduation party but it did not happen as planned because she told us the graduation was in June which was when I was free but it was postponed to August. I was occupied in August and could not attend physically but was present in the spirit.

We had a group video call with other family members during the graduation party and it was fun watching the smiles on her face. It has not been an easy journey, especially as an international student. The challenges are numerous but the good thing is that the end was joyful and worth celebrating.

The family meeting ended in grand style as they left the house for sightseeing. I took the opportunity to arrange the house and had a chat with @saxopedia who had an accident. While chatting with him, I fell asleep and that was how my day ended.

So sorry for your ill health madam I pray for quick recovery in Jesus Christ name A-----men.
It is true that we house wives, even though your are not feeling well, the house activities are still waiting for you, mostly when kids are with you, preparing breakfast is necessary and when you are not feeling well like this, it's seems that you want to denied them home right.
But I see you having the heart of a mother still go into the kitchen, not minding your health,I most give kudos to your mother-in-law for standing by you when seeing your health condition rushed in and take up the kitchen, that was a kind of mother in-law we are praying for, so caring and lovely.
I will also say that as the day was so stressful with you, you still feel the graduation day of your relative in the spirit and having a family video call is what is making me happy, because a lot of family believes until they meet physically they can meet together, now that technology has come,we need to have this change at hand.
Am so happy to see you so coordinating even with your ill health.
I pray that after taking your medications, you will be fine.
Sorry madam.

The ill health resulted from overworking myself without proper rest. I had enough rest the previous day, and I'm doing well today. I appreciate your support.

Saludos apreciada amiga. Te felicito porque aunque estés cansada, siempre estás presta a colaborar. Los cambió de planes repentinos siempre generan descontento y creo que tú hermana podrá entender el por no asististe a su acto. Te deseo y bendiciones

I appreciate you for always supporting me. As an African mother, despite the numerous chores we do, we still try to make sure everything works out.
