The Leaderboad rankings are not just calculated on the number of posts.
There is a complex algorithm that uses a whole set of different factors to work out the rankings automatically and dynamically. (Being a Steem Ambassador is NOT one of the factors.)
Thanks for explaining not that it creates a load of junk posts though it does mean that those not able to eat in restaurants, visit themeparks or live in a great environmemt might come up with 1 post per year.

Shops, museums, parks, cinemas, railway stations, schools, libraries... - all sorts of places can be posted on Steem Atlas.
Railway station is a good one. Especially, those hardly used and falling apart. 🤭
