STEEM ATLAS [20 Aug '25] : Staging Server, New Design Preview & Increased Delegator Rewards
Many of you will have noticed that the new logo and branding we have been using on Steemit recently is different to the old 'illuminated map' style of the steematlas.com website.
Now we are making moves to bring the website into harmony with the new branding style.
Today we are making public our staging server where users will be able to preview new developments on Steem Atlas before they go into production on the main site.
On that staging server you will have the option to view the site in the new branding style.
Staging Server & New Design
The new staging server is available at...
No password is needed to access this site.
We will be using this staging server to preview and test new developments on Steem Atlas.
Anyone interested is welcome to visit this site and give feedback on new features as they become available.
New features will generally have up to a week on the staging server before they are released on the main public site.
Please note : the staging server is for viewing only - DO NOT make any posts on this site.
Visitors to the staging server will see a small cog wheel on the left hand side...
Clicking on the cog wheel will pop-out a mini menu offering two different 'skin' options for Steem Atlas - the original 'illuminated' style and the new 'modern' red, white and blue design...
Visitors to Steem Atlas will be free to select whichever interface style they prefer.
Once selected the chosen style should persist for future visits - unless you clear your cache in the meantime.
Increased Delegator Rewards
The basic reward rate for delegators to @steem-atlas is currently 0.35 STEEM / 1000 SP / day.
Additionally we offer an enhanced rate for anyone who would like to proxy their witness votes to @steem-atlas.
To provide an even more attractive and competitive interest rate for anyone who would like to invest in the future growth of the Steem Atlas project we are today increasing the Delegator Proxy Rate by 12.5% to 0.45 STEEM / 1000 SP / day.
The minimum delegation amount is 250 SP to allow smaller investors to take part.
Thanks to delegations from over 80 delegators the @steem-atlas account now stands at over 800K SP. Our special thanks go to @the-gorilla, @tinyfish and @chriddi for their particularly generous delegations.
Now we are aiming for a total of 1 Million SP for @steem-atlas to put the project on a stable footing and allow us to support as many people as possible who are posting on Steem Atlas.
We hope everyone likes the new design and finds the staging server useful for keeping up to date with our forthcoming new features.
We also hope that the new increased Delegator Proxy Rate will encourage more people to become investors in the Steem Atlas project.
It is our firm belief that Steem Atlas can become a flagship project for the Steem blockchain.

The new design will present Steem-atlas in a new way. I really like Steem-atlas because I can see the beauty of our country thanks to Steem-atlas and show it to the whole world. I am very happy to travel and see new places.
Whether I get rewards from Steem-atlas or not, I will increase my delegation to Steem-atlas and participate in its development.

The new interface seems interesting and it was necessary to have a modern UI.
The increased delegators reward is an amazing opportunity for the people to invest and make passive income.
It is the greatest chance for those who are not using their steem power to curate.
