STEEM ATLAS [31 Mar '25] : The Atlas Challenge #3 - The Winners : 550 STEEM Prize Pool
The Atlas Challenge has its first set of winners for the big end of month prizes.
The top ten positions on the Leaderboard at 12noon UTC today are sharing a prize pool of 550 STEEM.
Indonesia and Argentina again took all the top five spots, but a number of new countries have entered the race in the lower positions including Bangladesh, India and Venezuela.
The next winners will be picked on 7 April when 150 STEEM will be shared among the Top 5 positions.

How to take part in the Atlas Challenge
To take part in the Atlas Challenge you just need to post on Steem Atlas.
You can post about any place or location that you have personally visited. You must use your own photographs.
Posts can be about...
- tourist attractions
- holiday destinations
- mountains & lakes
- museums & galleries
- theatres
- sport venues & stadiums
- zoos, animal sanctuaries & wildlife parks
- churches, temples & places of worship
- restaurants, cafes, bars & any type of eating place
- shops & shopping malls
- universities, colleges & schools
In fact any places or locations that you can locate on Steem Atlas.

The Leaderboad rankings are not just calculated on the number of posts.
There is a complex algorithm that uses a whole set of different factors to work out the rankings automatically and dynamically. (Being a Steem Ambassador is NOT one of the factors.)
To maximise your chances of moving up the Leaderboard you should read this post carefully...
And you will benefit from reading one other recent post as well 😉
We hope the Atlas Challenge will be a fun challenge for people to take part in.
There are now seven days until the next prize event on 7 April, so plenty of time to keep posting.
The more you post, the more chance you will have of working out how the algorithm works 😀

I have a question: is this leaderboard updated again after you announce a winner of the week?
Because if you don't update it, the first user will keep adding new post's and his number will remain at number one. For example, the first user has posted five posts and the tenth user has posted seven posts in a week, but he had posted fewer post's in the previous week, so he will be down again.
The Leaderboard is continuously updated on a rolling basis over a set number of days.
So only the posts made in the past X days are used in calculating the Leaderboard rankings.
There is no advantage of a being a long term poster.
