RE: Splash into Fun at Black Thunder Theme Park: A Water Wonderland in Tamil Nadu

in #steem-atlas3 months ago (edited)

Hi sir, thank you for contacting !
I didn't say anywhere in my post that I had visited this theme park. I just said that there is this "Black Thunder" theme park near by our town and what are its features. Because in the steem atlas intro post they said that you can write about any tourist spot or park or museum.

In that way, I have written about this theme park after learning about its details from their website .

The Steem Atlas project is live in open beta and ready for use...

If you are writing a post about a museum, a place of worship, a restaurant, a zoo, a shopping mall, a restaurant, a park, or any where you have visited - then why not try adding it to the Steem Atlas.

You can either add your post through the Steem Atlas using markdown, or you can create the post in your usual interface (such as steemit.com) and just grab the map code from Steem Atlas to include in your post.

Since this post is entirely about information, I didn't write it in prose, so it might have been different from what I usually write, as I have translated it from Tamil language by formal talking on online translator. Accoriding to the images, the photos are not mine either, as I needed photos for this article, I have shared photos from their official website and free image hosting sites. I have given their source and respective images below.

Also, I'm writing a blog about their theme park and I think we can use the images in the blog because it's like promoting it.

I only write informational posts like this on steem atlas and not on my own blogs. If writing like this is wrong, I will not do it again.

Thank you!

Greetings friend.

You must have some guidelines that friend Pennsif shares in his post

  • If you visited a restaurant or took the children to a theme park then write a whole post about the specific place.
  • Posts should be about places you have personally visited with photos you have taken.

I thought we could share the features of any tourist attractions or famous places like google map. This confusion has come about because Steem Atlas is new to us, and it's not the normal blog we always write about, so I'll be more careful with this further.

Replying because @steemcurator02 tagged me...

At the end of last year / the beginning of this year, you won a Steemit Award.

Prior to the announcement, I reviewed all of the nominations (for the quiz that I'm running, feel free to take a look) and you received nominations in other categories too (as I'm sure that you're aware).

I believe that the reason for this was because of your authentic approach to Steemit - the things that you share were personal experiences about things that you enjoy.

I'm sure that @pennsif can add his tuppence but if people want generic information about a place, they'll just look up that place. What will make Steem Atlas great is the same thing that makes Steemit great - personal experiences from your own unique perspective.

Please don't lose sight of this in your quest for votes from the various steemcurator teams - it'll just dilute what you're offering the platform and you'll start to blend in with the swathe of generic content from people doing the same thing.

Please don't be offended by this. You won a Steemit Award for a reason and you mustn't lose sight of this.

Edit: I hadn't noticed the other replies and see that pennsif has already said most of the above.

Hi, @the-gorillla
Yes, you are right. I should not lose the trust and vision that others have in me. Somehow, a small mistake has happened. It happened through my carelessness and misunderstanding. I will take this as a warning to myself.

The Steemit Quiz 2025 program you are running is going well. I wish it to attract more people's attention and be even better.

I also wish Steem Atlas continued growth and I will be posting my own experience as a review later.

Thank you very much for your time and valuable comments.

The Steemit Quiz 2025 program you are running is going well. I wish it to attract more people's attention and be even better.

I'm finding it difficult to maintain variety in the quesitons but we've got a good core group of people playing regularly. It would be nice if more people get involved but I'm not entirely sure how to go about that.

Hi @jyoti-thelight,

I was wondering if you could help me?

Could you please remove your vote from this proposal:

And move it to the New Return Proposal please:

It would also mean a lot to me if you could vote on my updated proposal to modernise Steemit's Interface:

I think that you supported it last year and it would mean a lot to me if you could support it again this year.

I've automated some votes on your active posts that will come in as my voting power reaches 100% to say thank you in advance.

Sure, can you please send me the link

Thank you.

It's on this page - https://steemitwallet.com/proposals

If you're uncomfortable with using my link, it's in the top right menu bar, under "Steem Proposals" (the link at the bottom of this screenshot).

You'll need to log in and then you'll see a green tick on the proposal you've already voted on. If you click this again, it will remove your vote from the old proposal and then it would be great if you then vote on mine 🙏

All being well, it should look like this when you've finished:
