The Beauty of the AL-MUNAWWARAH Mosque, Blang Pulo

Hello everyone, how are you? May you all be well and be blessed by God Almighty. On this occasion I would like to review a mosque in Aceh.

A mosque is a place of worship for Muslims. It is not surprising that every region builds mosques that are so luxurious and magnificent, moreover in Aceh Province we find many beautiful mosques. In Aceh we find many mosques because the majority of the population in Aceh is Muslim.

Mosques are generally used for religious services such as prayer. Basically, prayer is obligatory and is done 5 times a day, so the mosque will be used every day. As for the mosque is also used to carry out sunnah prayers as a congregation, Like the implementation of Eid al-Fitr prayers, Eid al-Adha, and Tarawih prayers.

Sometimes, mosques are also used as places for marriage contracts, and it is only done at certain times. Why is that? Marriage is a practice that is also included in acts of worship. So, the Muslim community will sympathize and hope for blessings from the Almighty.

Therefore, I would like to show you one of the magnificent mosques in Aceh. The architecture of the mosque is no less beautiful than other mosques that were built so luxuriously. The beauty of this mosque is that there are towers in every corner which are the center of luxury, It is said that the towers contain jade that will shine at night.

Right in front of the mosque courtyard there is a monument standing upright. The ablution area next to it is also no less clean, the domed roof gives it a beautiful appearance. The courtyard of the mosque, which has a large area, is used as a vehicle parking area. Likewise, next to the other side stood a hut/hall, this place is a place to rest and break the fast.

The entire mosque is painted white, symbolizing cleanliness and purity. Except for the inside of the mosque, such as the front wall facing the direction of the Qibla, which is painted with beautiful calligraphy the sentences are from the holy book of the Koran. In this case, it gives the mosque a more beautiful and attractive feel.

Apart from that, on the pillars of the mosque there are shelves around it which hold a number of holy books of the Koran, so that inside the mosque it also looks tidier. The large lamps hanging under the dome of the mosque also add beauty to the interior of the mosque.

This mosque is designed with an open shape, so that it creates a gentle breeze that can make the congregation feel comfortable. and more at ease when performing the five daily prayers. This mosque is named "AL-MUNAWWARAH Mosque" which is located at Jl. Medan-Banda Aceh, Gp.Blang Pulo, Muara Satu, Lhokseumawe, Aceh.
