I'm surprised you didn't mention the original Star Trek or even Deep Space 9... The franchise did grew big between TNG, DS9 and Voyager at the time, but they felt they had different niche they were reaching into. But then again, maybe the studios were expanding it way too fast... Good write up man, keep it up!!!
Well this was related more to the Picard series being done. I cant say im a big fan of TOS but DS9 was on par for me with TNG.
DS9 is one of my favorite Trek series even though its story and its setting has a darker overtone (or maybe because of it)
