How heavy it is?
Many people are not aware of this pollutant and it causing alot to their health although they rare require in small amount to maintain the normal biochemical reactions of the body, to be specific am referring to HEAVY METALS which are commonly found in our environment and diet.
Heavy metal are metals having specific density of 5g/cm3 and above such as lead, Mercury, arsenic, cadmium, etc , studies on some metals have shown that Continue exposure may lead to cancer thus let me talk about their effect in bone disorder for instance.
Research has shown that heavy metals affect the bone which is a mineralized tissue that is composed of four type of cell know as osteoblast, osteocyte, lining cell and osteoclast which has are under the regulation of both systemic and local factor, heavy metals affect this cells and their modulator such that it affect bone remodelling and decrease in bone mineralized density which lead to osteoporosis and osteopenia, decrease in bone mineral density cause easy fracture. Thus to reduce the intake of this heavy metals proper measure must be taken to avoid illness(fracture) .
