I'm quite sure most of us that will read this have felt at some point that God wasn't listening to our prayers.
In my church, when it's prayer time, the atmosphere is noisy and hot, a lot of people screaming on top of their voices trying to shout into God's ears. After some hours or days they eagerly wait for God's response and when it's not forthcoming some will tag God a "wicked God".
Most times, we pray and don't get responses because we don't pray according to God's will.

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
James 4:3King James Version (KJV)

The truth is we can't really know God's will except by His Spirit, that was He(God) embedded His Spirit in every believer.

Sometimes when we pray we feel like we need help delivering to God what is on our heart. We may not know the right words to say or how to express our deep longings. The apostle Paul says in Romans 8 that the Holy Spirit helps us and intercedes for us by taking our unspeakable "groanings" and presenting them to the Father.

"We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans"

The Spirit always prays according to God's will, and the Father knows the mind of the spirit.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us
1 John 5:14King James Version (KJV)

Be encouraged that God hears us when we pray and He knows our deepest needs.

DECLARATION: Thank You Father for giving me Your Spirit to help me when I pray.
Thank You for hearing my prayers and for loving me.

When you can put your prayers into words, God hears your heart.
