Are we through or do I try?
Why does my heart tell me it is over
When you and I only just begun?

Do you miss me as much as I miss you?
I long for your soft touch, your warm embrace
The softness of your lips on mine.
I wish I can make you stay but time cannot be kept at bay

With a voice like an angel, you conquered my heart
Eyes like diamond, smile so alluring, you made me smile like no one else could
I was just happy being your woman, It hurts to know you long for another.

My smile is now in the past, just where you left me.
I lay awake again tonight wishing I can change your heart
I try to convince myself, it's all a dream I'll wake up from.
Why is your love so diminished?

I want to feel free, I yearn for a new start
But this pain pierces so deep into my wounded heart
Pains from all the lies I heard and promises you couldn't keep.
You were my fire now I look for a place so cold

My mind overflows of memories of you
one more day of sadness is too hard to bear
I love you still even though you never loved me.
Someday you'll miss me but I'll be no more.
