Better late than never. It's the spirit that counts anyhow!
I was travelling on SPUD so I didn't power up. Now that I am settled in at my new home I've got a chance to catch up on stuff. I am now living on my 20 acre ranch near Sierra Blanca, TX. It is all that I hoped for. There is nothing I would want to improve on that isn't already in the works. I just powered up the Steem I had been able to set aside for SPUD and now I am over 100SP. I continue to post, currate and spend to increase my involvement with Steem. 
So glad for you, @lorreli! It seems like a dream come true.
Very much so. It gives me the opportunity to develop my own ranch with dogs, goats, chickens and cows. I will eventually build a real house and get a well drilled. Then this ranch, known as Shepherd's Corner will be my own personal paradise!

It's beautiful if you have an appreciation for scrubland. Incredible sunrises and sunsets, sunny but chilly days and my own peace of mind that it's MINE!
