Messi and Rakitic Received Uefa weekly Award
Barcelona duo Lionel Messi and Ivan Rakitic were both rewarded by Uefa for their outstanding performance the Barcelona group match against Tottenham. The match held at Wembley and Barcelona ran out Tottenham by 4-2.
Messi grabbed two goals from the game following a fine overall performance as he was nominated the Uefa player of the week.
Ivan Rakitic on the other hands was awarded with the best goal for a fine volley with which he scored his own goal.
