Selling! Asian Games Opening Ticket Sold Almost 50 Percent

Tickets for the opening ceremony of Asian Games 2018 already sold almost 15 thousand pieces. The Organizing Committee of INASGOC is optimistic that the tickets will be exhausted.

The opening of the Asian Games will take place Aug. 18 at the Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK). INASGOC with national ticketing company Kiostix.com sells about 30 thousand tickets to the general public with prices starting at the cheapest Rp 750 thousand to Rp 5 million.

"Until now, we have close to 50 percent of the tickets sold, almost 15 thousand, so the name of Indonesia is certainly close to the Asian Games (newly purchased) but until now we are optimistic," said TAS, Director of INASGOC, Sarman Simanjorang.

The price of tickets for the opening of the Asian Games was considered too expensive by several parties, including the people of Indonesia. At that time, INASGOC Chairman, Erick Thohir, insisted that tickets be released at market prices. INASGOC is based on ticket prices from previous Asian Games events.

"Yes, if we see the animosya (already) high, so it means we are very, very optimistic that it will be sold out," said Sarman.
