Former England international and Chelsea legend John Terry has officially announced his retirement completely from football after an incredible 23 years of playing career.
John Terry announced his retirement via Twitter after leaving Aston Villa last season.
He was subject of speculation this season and was also linked to joining a club in Russia before calling off the deal.
John Terry is regarded as one of the best defenders of his generation and Chelsea ever best defender and captain.
Terry who won 78 caps for England and also captain England won all the trophies he could winning the premier league five times,one champions league, four fa cup and one Europa league trophy among his collection.
Terry thanks his wife and children for being by his side all these years, also his parents who brought him up , friends and family for their support.
Terry will be going into coaching as he is already working towards getting his coaching badge.
