Real Madrid ile Arsenal karşı karşıya geldi. Real Madrid maçta 2-0 geriye düştü. Gareth Bale skoru 2-1 yaptı. Hemen sonrasında Marco Asensio sahneye çıktı ve skoru 2-2 ye getirdi. Golü attıktan 3 dakika sonra Marco Asensio sakatlandı. Çapraz bağları kopan oyuncu 8-9 ay sahalardan uzak kalacak.

Real Madrid teknik direktörü Zidane oyuncusunun sakatlanmasına çok üzüldü. Asensio sedye ile ambulansa taşınırken taraftarlar alkışlarla ona destek verdi. 23 yaşındaki oyuncu için çok zor bir durum. Bir an önce iyileşip takıma dönmesini ümit ediyorum.
