KD: The Warriors took good care of his injury
The former Golden State Warriors supertar, Kevin Durant, said that the GSW didn't mishandle his calf injury.
KD cameback in game 5 to help his team to win their 3pt NBA championship. But suddenly KD tore his achilles on that game and lost the championship title against the raptors. Their are some rumours that the GSW warriors pressured him to play and he was unhappy because the GSW mishandled his calf injury. But KD clarified that the GSW took good care of his injury. He said in an interview with Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
“Hell, no. How can you blame the Warriors? Hell, no,” “I heard the Warriors pressured me into getting back. Nobody never said a word to me during rehab as I was coming back. It was only me and director of sports medicine and performance Rick [Celebrini] working out every day. Right when the series started, I targeted Game 5. Hell, nah. It just happened. It’s basketball. S— happens. Nobody was responsible for it. It was just the game. We just need to move on from that s— because I’m going to be back playing.”
