May 26, 20: AutomaticWin, TripleTen, Teaching, and Games

Up at five today, but went to bed early enough the night before to get a full night and a “good” sleep score. 👍

Woke up with a mission, pretty much, since today is the start of our summer semester. I had a bit of work to do getting the syllabus and calendar to reflect the online schedule, posting it up, then creating an intro announcement with instructions for getting started.

Spent most of the morning routine getting my post done ahead of time, checking the crypto markets (still not seeing much favorable my way), hitting some faucets, etcetera.

Then we headed out seriously early to score the #AutomaticWin and #TripleTen without a problem.

I’m digging the warmer weather...getting to be real nice out there now, even early in the morning! 😁

We didn’t see Mr. Chubbles today, but this little guy struck a pose. 😊

Got a chance to engorge my solar obsession...can’t beat that star! ⭐️

The local chapter of The Fraternal Order of Slugkind was having a powwow this morning. 🙂

We did the long loop around to the other side of the lake. Quite a few boaters out enjoying the weather and catching some fibshes.

With all the rain we’ve had lately, the drainage ditches have become proper rivers. An unfortunate side effect of the increased water flow is that turtles and fibshes get caught at the outflow. We saw at least two dead turtles there, a painted box turtle and an alligator snapper. 😢

I spent most of the afternoon getting people settled over on our Discord server, giving all the new people a role, and fielding some questions here and there.

In the evening we met for a little over an hour on Zoom to help people (including me) get better acquainted with the technology. I’ve used Zoom a lot, but not as host, and I’m trying to figure out all the recording stuff as well.

Now that I think about it, I never did eat any dinner. 😧 Played my Splinterlands and passed out pretty quickly watching Stargate.

Got my dCity income again today, minus the theftation. Still can’t afford to do anything or move forward. A little frustrating. 😖

Yet again, to my astonishment, I completed my Holybread tasks today! 😃

Getting a bit harder to hold the ranking, but still doing alright.

I got Water splinter for my Splinterlands quest today. I started to get a little frustrated when it seemed like I couldn’t get the quest finished, but not too bad.
