Giannis led the Bucks in battling against the Suns
The top Bucks recovered quickly from a previous loss to the Denver Nuggets yesterday.
Giannis Antetokounmpo collected 30 points and 19 rebounds to lead Milwaukee to a 129-108 victory over the Phoenix Suns.
"A good response," Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said. “Not our best, but a steady, good response.”
It was the 26th time Antetokounmpo kicked more than 30 points.
All-Star forward Khris Middleton added 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for Milwaukee, while center Brook Lopez had 17 markers.
The Bucks shot 15-of-38 shooting in the three-point range.
Star guard Devin Booker led the Suns with 32 points.
In Houston, James Harden scored 40 points, 10 boards and 9 assists for the Rockets' 117-109 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.
"James is James, so we can put all that other stuff on the rest because he seems like not back," coach Mike D’Antoni told Harden.
Houston ended New Orleans' three-game winning streak, giving Brandon Ingram 28 points and 12 rebounds.
Pelicans rookie sensation Zion Williamson finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
In Detroit, Bruce Brown added 19 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists, while reserve guard Reggie Jackson had 20 markers to help the Pistons to a 128-123 overtime win over the Denver Nuggets.
Andre Drummond scored 21 points and 17 rebounds to hold Detroit in a five-game losing slump.
This is the 400th career double-double of 26-year-old Drummond.
Center Nikola Jokic threw 39 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds for the Nuggets.
In Toronto, Terence Davis threw for a career-high 31 points and the Raptors set a team record with their 11th straight win over the Chicago Bulls, 129-102.
Pascal Siakam contributed 17 points, while Serge Ibaka, Chris Boucher, and Kyle Lowry had 16, 15 and 14 markers, respectively.
Chandler Hutchison scored 17 points on the Bulls and Ryan Arcidiacono and Coby White had 12 markers.
