The Best Night In The NBA Playoffs
The Best Night In The NBA Playoffs So Far, I want to hear my followers thoughts!!!
Toronto Vs Cleveland…. Amazing!! Tristan Thompson > Larry Nance Jr. ….
In my previous post, I said no-one on the Raptors can defend LeBron (They lost PJ Tucker from last year, and its just a drain of energy for DeRozan to try), but I didn’t realize how bad this situation was…. Pascal Siakam is who Dwyane Casey threw at the GOAT in crunch time.
JR Smith is stepping up in the playoffs, Kyle Korver did his thing, Kevin Love didn’t shoot well but he’s making tough nosed plays & deserves credit. That elbow he gave to DeRozan in the final seconds, TOOUUGHHH.
Those 5 guys have familiarity, that shouldn’t be forgotten.
Weird question, what happened to Norman Powell on the Raptors? He was playings starts minutes 2 years ago.

New Orleans got up 105 shots, what a pace! Pelicans are scoring with 21 seconds left on the shot clock in the first half, attempting to outpace GSW, but Davis rolled his ankle early in the second half. Nobody plays golden state ball like golden state plays golden state ball, especially when Davis has a rolled ankle. The game was over when that happened.
Rondo in Dryamonds face at half time. YESSSS. Draymond and Anthony Davis flopping all of eachother 70 feet away from the basket YESSSSS
Warriors basketball is just fun, and when a team tries to match it the way the Pelicans did in the first half its amazing NBA action. The passing in this series is something any basketball fan should enjoy.
Jrue Holilday can’t guard Kevin Durant, they got to put Anthony Davis on him.
Steph was +26 when he was on the floor. Steph-ortless (as the TNT guys like the say).
Steph truly best PG in league (history?) right now, but Ben Simmons and Lonzo will be gunning for him using a completely different style.
Nobody can guard Durant when he's firing.
Pelicans might have won, except for the rolled ankle, important to keep that in mind especially when given playing away.
Wasn't Siakam subbed-in bc Anunoby was both gassed AND did something kinda stupid under the basket (like a unneeded foul)? Think that was just how it had to be, not by design or reaction to overall defense on LeBron.
Cleveland didn't win this game, Toronto lost it. They reverted back to ISO_ball in the 4th quarter when Cleveland upped the defensive effort down 7 with 7 min to play. It was like a switch had been flicked. Toronto flat out choked, turned the ball over a ton bc they stopped passing, and Lowry and DeRozan looked like idiots bc Cleveland obviously knows they are both going to try to be heroes in the end, so they just double-teamed them when they got the ball. Easy-peezy. Will Toronto's "stars" finally learn? Maybe their coach will learn just to keep the 2nd unit in to close the game, they couldn't have done any worse than Lowry and DeRozan.
Lowry looked like he was scared for his life in the last 5 minutes and during overtime.
Really not sure Toronto will win the next one, sometimes it's hard to overcome unsubstantiated fear. They are clearly the better team tho.
But their stars don't "trust the process".
Nobody is better than Larry Nance Jr. Come'on!! But yeah, Tristan was even making his foul shots, pretty impressive.
