Lower Back Workout Without Any Equipment
Workouts without equipment are mostly consider useless for muscle growth but if they are performed with correct technique and intensity they can help you to gain strength. Lower back is the main muscle involved in squats and dead lifts. Without stronger lower back you can not lift heavy weight when your back gets involved in any kind of workout.

Lower back however can not support your body unless it is supported by strong glutes. Angel of Death workout is best exercise that require the combine effort of your glutes and your back. To involve both parts you need to lift both your toes knees and your thighs above the ground. You need to move your hands from the over head position all the way to your sides.
Supercharging the glutes, strengthening the lower back and focusing on gaining mobility around the hips will do wonders for a lot of folks out there with lower back issues. Nice post, its under talked about body part.
Some of us make the mistake of buying new equipment and gym membership when we decide to exercise more regularly. Like you said, it can be done without expensive equipment & memberships.
True, I won't pay a penny for gym membership. I tend to go to the park and do tabata exercise for free.

This is a very difficult but a very rewarding exercise. If you can do it for a reasonable length of time then you can achieve a lot of other exercises.
