Good morning Steemians! After another spectacular event we bring you the results of the main event of UFC 235.

Cody Garbandt vs. Marlon Moraes

Cody Garbrandt has lost his third fight in a row via TKO against Marlon Moraes. Cody was better in the beginning of the first round but when he got clipped he just lost his mind and "went out for blood". After three strikes right on the chin Cody finally went down and was easily finished on the ground.

Ben Askren vs. Robbie Lawler

Ben Askren has successfully extended his record in the MMA to 19-0-0 after his debut in UFC. Although the reff Herb Dean stopped this fight a bit too early, Robbie Lawler has shaked his hand and congratulated Ben Askren on a victory. Lawler was in a pretty bad position before the stoppage and if Herb Dean didn't stopped this fight then Lawler would probably tapped few moments later.

Tyron Woodley vs. Kamaru Usman

Unbelieveable scenes in the first title fight of the night as Kamaru Usman absolutely dominated and outwrestled the champion Tyron Woodley. The challenger looked unstoppable and has landed 82 body strikes in less than 12 minutes of the fight. At the end of the third round Woodley's corner told him that he needs to go forward because Usman destroyed him in first 3 rounds. Woodley was taken down after only a minute in round 4 and Usman controlled him on the ground for the next 2 minutes. After the ref got them up, Usman went into carnage mode and he almost knocked Woodley out. It's still unclear how has Woodley survived this round but he somehow did. In the last round of the fight Woodley had to go for the knockout because he was clearly loosing this fight by far. It took only a minute and a half for Usman to take Woodley down again. The challenger has successfully controlled the fight until the end and became a new champion with the most dominant performance in the title fights in the last few years of UFC. Just look at how the refs scored this fight: 50-44, 50-44 and 50-45 for the new champion Kamaru Usman. Spectacular destruction!

Jon Jones vs. Anthony Smith

There's not much to say here, it was a classic Jon 'Bones' Jones fight. After first two rounds Smith had lost his offense and went into 'survival mode' for two rounds straight. At the end of fourth round Jones landed an illegal knee to the head of Smith and lost 2 points. This didn't make a difference as Smith had no answers for Jon's attacking game and has lost fifth and final round. All three referees scored this contest 48-44 in favour of Jon Jones.

We also need to mention that Zabit Magomedsharipov won his fight against Jeremy Stephens. First two rounds went clearly into Zabit's favour while Stephens probably won the last, third round. Zabit still remains unbeaten inside the octagon and is now a serious contender for the title fight in Featherweight division.
