The inevitable comparisons have already begun. Is Aaron Judge the next Yankee superstar? Is he the next Derek Jeter?

Aaron Judge is a 25 year old right-handed outfielder, currently playing right field for the 2017 Yankees. He was born in California, and was adopted at birth . At his Linden, CA high school, he was a stand-out athlete not only in baseball, but in football and basketball as well. He had the choice of playing college baseball or football, and wisely chose to play baseball at Fresno State College. In the 2013 MLB draft, he was taken by the Yankees as their first round draft pick ( he was the 32nd pick overall).

Assigned number 99 at his first invitation to Yankee camp in 2016, ( the higher the number, the less likely they think you are to make the team, reportedly) , this is the number he still wears today. In his major league debut in August 2016, he hit his first home run. An auspicious start for sure! In the 2016 season, in 84 at bats he had a .246 average, with 16 HR's , so far in 2017 in 83 at bats he has a .313 average, with 12 HR's and 25 RBI's.

He is a towering hulk of a player, standing 6 foot 7 inches, and weighing in at 282 lbs. No wonder he smashes billboards and TV screens with his stupendous home runs!

So, is Aaron Judge the next Yankee superstar? So far it's looking good, and the Yankees need another leader of the caliber of Derek Jeter, so, let's root for the Judge!

Of course he is!

Turns out you were 100% right!

That home run he robbed in Game 7 was incredible, if the Yanks won that would have been historic
