I never wanted to be a cricketer
Pakistan Women's Cricket Team Captain Bisma Maroof says that I did not want to be a cricketer but started taking cricket seriously because of my father's wishes.
Bisma Maruf said of his career, he never thought that he would join cricket and become captain of the team.
He said it was an honor to lead the team in the World T20 and try to bring the team to the top four.
Bisma Maroof said that winning the home series against Bangladesh gave players confidence while the series against England would be important.
Pakistan Cricket Board has kept Bisma Maroof the national team captain till the Women's T20 World Cup while Iqbal Imam has been appointed head coach.
Women's World Twenty20 is scheduled for February 2020 in Australia.
Pakistan Cricket Board has also announced the home series schedule against England which will be played in Malaysia. The ODIs will be played on December 9, 12 and 14, while the T20 series will begin on December 17.
