Mindset Can Change The Whole Game - Parkour Training

in #sports5 years ago

When we were kids, we would love to play all day. Sometimes we forgot to eat because we loved playing sports more than anything and that means the world to us.

Did you start doing any sport and after a certain period of time you gave up?

Maybe you did something like that or you saw people doing that. Some people are very motivated to get into sports at the beginning and later, they are not motivated that much and give up.

You know what to do, but if your mindset is not right, you are not going to take action or just give up at the middle of your journey.

First of all, ask yourself why you want to do that sport. That is your driving force to keep going. Let's watch this video.

During parkour training, you have to practice a lot. You have to do it over and over until it is done. Now if you fail to get a certain spot after jumping, what will you do next?

If you think you cannot do that because you tried, you will not try again. As a result, you cannot get better at it. On the other hand, if you are able to jump and land on the right spot, that's good. But if you think you are good enough and you do not need more practice, your progress will stop there. Your skills will not improve.

Now think in a different way. If you fail to get on the right spot after jumping, and you determine to do that, you will try again and again. You will surely do that perfectly. Here your failure motivates you. On the flip side, If you try for the first time, you are able to do that. That's fantastic! You are doing great. You are motivated to take new challenge and accomplish that.

So it is your mindset that determines what you are going to do next whether you fail or succeed. And it can change the whole game.
