Sabbir faces six-month international ban
Sabbir was found guilty of threatening a Facebook user hours after Bangladesh lost the second ODI against West Indies on July 27, which led the user to criticize the batsman in a Facebook post.
It was learnt that the disciplinary committee took the harsh measure against Sabbir for repeating the same kind of offences. For his behavioural short-circuits Sabbir, who had previously assaulted a young spectator in December 2017 and ordered officials to keep their mouths shut, was earlier penalized for six months from participating in any domestic matches and was also fined. It may be mentioned here that he has not been picked in the 16-member Bangladesh squad for the Asia Cup.
