Nate  Diaz shocked plenty when he, a last-minute fill-in just to keep the  champion's name on the card for the audience, battered and beat Conor  McGregor before submitting him with a rear naked choke in the second  round at UFC 196. He wasn't supposed to win, even though he'd won 18  fights prior to that and had a size advantage. He had the benefit of his  opponent preparing for a completely different fighting style, and the  benefit of having a whole lot less to lose. But it was still an upset, and  some oddsmakers feel the same way going into UFC 202: Diaz vs. McGregor  2, as the latter has been favored throughout the pre-fight build up.  McGregor wanted a rematch, and during the weigh-in on Friday, he  certainly looked a whole lot bigger for this welterweight match than he  did when he was initially planning for a lightweight match. And this is  the featherweight champion, mind you — yet another division down.

Whatever the case, the fight is  as hyped as can be. Diaz and McGregor have made all the threats and  have said all they needed to say to one another. There's bad blood here,  or at least that's what you're supposed to believe. The animosity seems  genuine at the very least, and whether or not a more focused can beat  Diaz is very interesting. The rest of the card looks  stellar, too. Anthony Johnson and Glover Teixeira will face off in a  light heavyweight bout, and Donald Cerrone — a fan favorite who is  ALWAYS exciting — has a match against Rick Story also on the main card. Watching the event occurs in a  few different phases, as is usually the case with UFC events. The  preliminary card will be broken up into two blocks, the first beginning  at 6:30 p.m. ET with three matches on UFC Fight Pass, the organization's  subscription service. Then there will be another four preliminary  fights broadcast on Fox Sports 1 at 8 p.m. Finally, the five-fight main  card gets underway at 10 p.m. and is available via PPV through your  television provider or online at UFC.TV or even the UFC's YouTube  channel. Links to everything and how to watch information can be found  below, in addition to the full fight card.
