Review of his career:

Born in San Giovanni Bianco and trained in the lower Milan, Astori was a central defender with an impressive technique and an enviable physique for anyone who plays in that demarcation. After playing in Serie C with two teams (Pizzighettone and Cremonese), he took the most important step in his career in 2008 when he signed for Cagliari. He wore the shirt of the Sardinians for six seasons, in which he played 179 games and scored 3 goals.

His good games with the previous team, put him in the sights of Roma, who signed him in 2015. After an irregular season with the capital, was transferred to the last team he played with, A.C.F Fiorentina; institution in which he became an important piece for his qualities as an athlete and as a person, the comments of his friends and coaches talk about his innate leadership that led him to become captain although he was only two years in the club.

Astori fulfilled the profile of the typical Italian defender, a selection that has been characterized by having an impressive defensive system. In spite of only having 14 participations with the "azzurri", his state of current form placed him among the first options to be summoned.

Davide leaves his partner Franseca Fioretti, famous Italian model with whom he had a girl two years ago.

Without a doubt, the world of football mourns his death; SERIE A (italian league) has decided to suspend the whole day as a tribute and out of respect for the mourning of Fiorentina and the player's family. Fly high Davide.

That's such sad news. Hopefully the big football clubs will do more testing for these rare heart conditions. Fabrice Muamba is very lucky to be alive, after his heart stopped for 78 minutes in 2012. James Taylor was fortunate as well, when scans revealed his heart problem. I hope more lives can be saved in the future.

That's right, there are already many cases, teams should practice more medical tests on their players to prevent any disease.
