Get Agressive
Rollerblading is a sport that hits close to home for me.... it also hits my knees and elbows sometimes.
My mother threw me into my first set when I was eleven, and I currently own six pairs some twenty years later.
Tony hawk put massive pressure on the xgames to highlight skateboard over the rollerblade industry, which was still a new industry and breaking ground, and god love the guy, but it pushed aggressive inline to the backburner and highlighted skateboard. It pushed rollerblade underground for a long time, but that only served to make it more popular as time went on.
Now in 2018, rollerblades are making a come back!
There are so many styles of skate, swappable parts, wheel sizes that the possibilities are endless for a nice custom skate. From Speed skates, to slalom, street, and aggressive, its a sport that keeps you active, and an economical way to travel faster than walking without exerting a lot of energy.
It is Definitely not the old school skate you're used to. you can get style, AND strength for a durable kick
big wheels = more rotation = hold on she's a fast ride!
triskates (in this instance with dirt wheels) so you can pummel the dirt.
Now, I'm not saying that you should buy a pair, but BUY A PAIR!

With all the attention on electric(potentially explosive lithium powered) rideables which are both expensive and hard to maintain, There are a plethora of widely available and inexpensive human powered products that can get you across your commute tomorrow.
It's green, it's active, and its hella cool! you'll thank yourself after a summer of rollerblading, and working those lungs into good cardio health, all while saving time, gas, and cold hard cash.
I'll leave it at that. I gotta roll!
