Cardinals Former Scouting Agent in Jail?
Chris Correa the Cardinal's baseball team former scouting agent was sentenced to 46 months in prison today. The reason, he hacked into the Astro's private scouting statistics and analytics. Correa didn't fight the charges, in fact he actually pleaded guilty to the crime. The hack originally occurred in 2014 but no one knew who was responsible. The maximum penalty that he could have faced was 5 years and $250,000, so lets just say he got lucky with his 46 months. As the title implies he no longer works for the Cardinal organization and it is said that the MLB might punish the Cardinals later by taking away some of their valuable draft picks.
