Di masa injury time menit 90+1 Atletico Madrid mengunci kemenangan mereka melalui gol Koke, Diego Costa melesat dari sayap kiri, tepat di luar area penalti ia mengirimkan umpan silang rendah ke tengah. Herrera ada di sana terlebih dahulu, tetapi ia mengecoh bek Espanyol dengan berlari melewati bola, Koke datang dari belakang dan melepaskan tendangan, bola melewati Diego Lopez!
