Manchester City and West Ham United come out on top
After Manchester City’s 3 -1 win against Everton today, Pep Guardiola’s team only has one more match to win before they become the Premier League champions. Before today, Manchester City had not recorded a win against Everton in the three matches that were played prior to this one. However, they decided to firmly break that trend today.

The first goal was scored by Man City after just four minutes of game play when a beautiful strike from David Silva was finished off by Leroy Sane. At the 12 minute mark, Manchester City broke from a goal kick and the combination of a cross by Kevin de Bruyne and a header by Gabriel Jesus put City ahead 2 - 0. After the first half, Everton attempted to gain back some dignity when Yannick Bolasie fired in a shot from 20 yards away. However, Sterling was back to finish off what others have started, making it a 3 – 1 Manchester City victory.
The next match in Manchester City’s immediate future is one which promises to be a memorable one. They will be meeting arch rivals Manchester United in the derby at Etihad Stadium next Saturday. I do not see Manchester United making it easy for Manchester City to win that match but if they do, Manchester City will become the 2018 Premiere League champions.

I am sure those of you who watched the game between West Ham and Southampton were stunned at how badly the Southampton team performed in order to concede a 3 -0 defeat in the hands of West Ham.
West Ham gave their supporters the much needed thrill when in the 13 minute, João Mário tossed in the first goal. This goal was closely followed by one from Marko Arnautovic who scored another one for West Ham in the 17th minutes. Arnautovic returned to add insult to injury in the 45+4minutes by cementing West Ham’s victory with another stunning goal. Overall, West Ham was the better team.
