Three NFL Quarterbacks at a Crossroad

in #sports7 years ago

Yesterday, in Miami Gardens, Florida, the Dolphins narrowly beat the Tennessee Titans.
This was the first home game for the Dolphins as they started the season missing the first week, which was due to be the home opener which was delayed because of the hurricane.

Former Chicago Bear quarterback Jay Cutler is filling in for Ryan Tannehill who suffered a season ending injury in the pre-season.
Cutler and the Dolphin offense are performing miserably. Before yesterday's 16-10 victory, the team averages 8 points per game, last in the NFL.

During the game, fans could be audibly heard through the television broadcast chanting, "We want Moore!"
The chants were not for more Cutler and his inept offense, rather experienced back up, Matt Moore.
During the half-time show, several analysts commented that it might be time to turn to the back-up in an attempt to jump start the offense.

The Dophin coach, Adam Gase was asked about swapping quarterbacks. The coach made it very clear, Cutler was not going to be replaced by Moore.

Enter Colin Kaepernick. Many experts and fans have wondered why a team with strong defense and struggling offense would not take a look at Kaepernick ,who does possess elite talent. The Miami Dolphins will NOT consider Kaepernick.
The Dolphin fan base and region has a large Cuban population and based on Kaepernick's praise of former Cuban Dictator, Fidel Castro, and the response Kaepernick received prior to the 2016 game between the 49er's and the Dolphins, find a roster spot with the Dolphins is nearly impossible.

At some point, if Cutler continues to struggle, Matt Moore will become the starting quarterback.

Prediction: Cutler out, Moore in, Kaepernick continues to service this unofficial suspension due to "off the field concerns."
