Manchester City Big Boss Plan For Next Season
Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak explained the team's plans were mainly about the transfer policy for the 2018/19 campaign.
Pep Guardiola successfully brought The Citizens into champions English Premier League this season by breaking a number of fantastic records.
Although judged almost perfect, City will still remain active in the transfer market next summer. Only, their transfer steps will be different from before.
Al Mubarak insists his team has learned a lot from the player's spending experience in the past few seasons and this time will not be arbitrary in adding to the already successful squad composition.
"In terms of developing the squad, we've learned a lot from the past, and now we have a very good squad, you will not get 100 points without the current squad, if there is more then you have to make more progress," he said in the interview. along with City TV.
"That's the lesson I've picked up over the last few years leading this club. When winning, bringing in new players will be a very important decision because you already have a proven formula for success."
"Anything that can be added to this squad should be decided carefully, you must bring in players who will add, develop and improve the strength of the squad, that's the key."
Over the past 12 months, City have spent more than £ 250m to bring in six new players to Etihad Stadium.
