Paul McDonough Husband and father of 2 is a long and lean 170 pound Mixed Martial Artist Of Pride Lands BJJ. While Paul has had a great Mixed Martial Arts Career winning the Art Of Fighting Amateur 170 # MMA title in 2013 (2013 Fight of the year honors), McDonough has also competed in many BJJ tournaments (Competing and medaling often above his belt level), and Amateur boxing (2-1). Paul currently holds a Brown Belt in Both Judo and Jiu Jitsu. I first met Paul when he was preparing for a fight about 3 years ago where he visited Tristate MMA to get some rounds in with different people, and since Tri-State and Pride Lands are friendly they often cross training. Paul is a very gifted Martial Artists with many qualities that many fighters envy. Long reach and a great sense of distance/timing are just a few of the talents that Paul possess. Paul is a very talented Grappler as well, with 4 of his 6 official wins coming my way of submission he is a a force to be reckoned with is the 170 pound division. While Paul is a super tough competitor in the cage, he is an extremely nice guy, very respectful on the mats and never looks to hurt his training partners in sparing.
