KARACHI: Former Test cricketer Qasim and Taseev Ahmed have declared the return of Test cricket after ten years in Pakistan as a major success of security agencies and PCBs.

Senior cricketers think playing cricket in home-ground and home-conditions will benefit Pakistan cricket, while test cricketer Mohammad Sami says every cricketer wants to play a test match in front of his people and home crowd.

Waiting clocks are over, Test cricket is going to be held in Pakistan after one-day cricket. Sri Lanka cricket team will visit Pakistan to play Test series in December.

Former Test cricketer Iqbal Qasim, the hero of the Bangalore Test, has called the return of Test cricket in Pakistan a major success of the security agencies and the PCB.

Former Test cricketer Taseef Ahmed has said that more teams will come to Pakistan after this visit to Sri Lanka. He urged the people of Karachi to take part in the Test matches.

The first test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played at Pindi Stadium Rawalpindi from December 11 to 15, while the second match is scheduled for December 19-23 at the National Stadium Karachi.

According to Chief Executive Sri Lanka Cricket Ashley de Silva, we are happy to confirm Pakistan once again, we believe that Pakistan's conditions for Test cricket are conducive.

He said the competition in the Test series would be tough and the fans would get to watch the thrilling cricket.

Director International Cricket PCB Zakir Khan thanked the Sri Lankan board for sending the team to the Test series. He said that this was a wonderful news for our cricket and proof that Pakistan is a safe country.

It is to be noted that the Sri Lankan team also participated in a one-day and T20 series in Pakistan.
