Pacers Force A Game 7
On Friday, the Indiana Pacers did the unexpected. They forced a Game 7 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Pacers thrashed the Cavaliers in a 121-87 win. The Pacers looked nearly unstoppable last night. They looked like a better team than the Cavaliers.
The Pacers had 7 players in double figures. Victor Olapido tallied a triple-double with 28 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists. Domantas Sabonis scored 19 points off the bench. Darren Collison scored 15 points. Lance Stephenson and Myles Turner both scored 12 points each. Thaddeus Young and Bojan Bogdanovic scored 10 points each.
The Cavaliers numbers were less spectacular. At one point, the Cleveland Cavaliers were down by 36 points. LeBron James had 22 points. It is odd when 22 points is a good game for most people, but 22 for LeBron is abnormal or a "less than stellar" game. Jeff Green had 13 points. Rodney Hood scored 12 points. Besides those three, no other Cavalier scored in double figures.
After a close, but unbelievable finish in Game 5, the Cavs were lacklaster. In Game 5, LeBron James hit a clutch three-pointer to win the Game. The Cavs were a completely different team on Friday.
The series continues tomorrow. Game 7 will be in Cleveland. This is the final chance the Cavaliers have to advance to the second round. They can either win, or the Pacers will advance. Both teams are capable of winning, and I expect to see a great game tomorrow. May the best team win
