1200px-Boston_Celtics.svg.pngHello, Hola, Bonjour.

I know it's been a while since I've written, but I still have been keeping up with the playoffs.

In fact, I watched an exciting game that came down to the wire. Last night, the Boston Celtics beat the Philadelphia 76ers 114-112.

This game literally came down the last possession. The 76ers had the opportunity to tie, but Ben Simmons throw a long pass that ultimately ended up being caught by the Celtics. Simmons was trying to throw the ball further down the court, in hopes that one of his teammates would catch it and make a shot. The Sixers had 0 timeouts, which meant they had no time to draw up a play. Ben Simmons improvised in a way most players do in that predicament. Ultimately, the Sixers stayed in this game, but their lack of experience costed them.

Jayson Tatum scored 25 points. The rookie stepped up big for the Celtics. On a team without their two star players, Tatum is one of the young players that stepped up for the Celtics. Jaylen Brown scored 24 points. Terry Rozier scored 17 points. Al Horford scored 15 points. Horford, the veteran, gives the Celtics leadership and experience. Marcus Smart scored 14 points and Aron Baynes scored 13 points. The Celtics had contributions from several players.

The Celtics will face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Conference finals. The Cavs swept the Toronto Raptors, who were the first seed of the Eastern Conference. The Cavs embarrassed the Raptors after a tough series in the first round. The Pacers challenged the Cavs more than the Raptors. Now, the Celtics have the chance to beat the Cavs. Personally, I am not that they will, but they could force the Cavs into a Game 7.

The Eastern Conference Finals start on Sunday. The Celtics are the higher seed and will start the series in Boston.I am looking forward to a potentially good series. The Celtics have played well since the start of the playoffs. They could potentially dethrone the current Eastern Conference champions in the Cavaliers. Regardless, May the best team win.
