Russia World Cup 2018: Qualified Teams and more...!
Hello everyone!
Here I have some information about the teams that are going to play in this next World Cup.

As you can see in the picture, there are 32 countries, which are divided in 8 groups. The groups are structured as follows:
GROUP A:
- Russia (Host): The team has advanced with Cherchesov, some time ago they got 3-3 against Spain so there are good expectatives for this country.
- Saudi Arabia: This team has one of the worst positions in the ranking. However, it has some talent but needs more international experience.
- Egypt: This team has a mixture of youth and experience but they need to work more on marking passes.
- Uruguay: Some decisions concerning the playing style are about to be taken before the World Cup starts.
GROUP B:
- Portugal: Offense is stronger than defense. They won the last EuroCup, so there are good expectatives to obtain a good position in this Cup.
- Spain: Keeps resisting. Good results in the last EuroCup and in the World Cup's Qualifiers. The team is optimistic.
- Morocco: The only African country that will play in this Cup, they got it without any goal in Qualifiers but a solid defense and hard work helped them a lot.
- Iran: This team has its temperament. Playing style is reactive, with marked defense and fast counterattacks.
GROUP C:
- France: This is a competitive and strong team; they are very fast and good at counterattacking.
- Australia: This team lacks experienced players and has had several unsteadiness with its coaches. However, they have worked hard.
- Peru: This team recovered their old style; short passes and possession are now part of this selection that is made of new and young players.
- Denmark: This country had a surprising performance in the Qualifiers. Good expectatives for the team.
GROUP D:
- Argentina: This cup will be the last one for many veteran players in the team. They did not have the games as expected in the Qualifiers.
- Iceland: This team has had several problems; they lost their front player and their old coach. However, they had got good results.
- Croatia: This team could have the opportunity to make something important for this generation, but some good players have been involved in media and politic problems, which might be difficult for them to have fan support and focusing.
- Nigeria: Good performance in this World Cup Qualifiers. Fans feel optimistic. Strong defense and ball recovers.

GROUP E:
- Brazil: The team has progressed a lot: Good players and a relatively new coach. However, they may need more options in players’ distribution if they want to get far.
- Switzerland: This team has strong players, good expectatives. After the last playoffs to qualify in this Cup, Swiss people became optimistic, they are waiting for the team to be in the eighth finals in this World Cup, maybe more.
- Costa Rica: This team should fight to be in the Top 8 in this Cup, but it has the superiority to pass the group phases and reach the decisive games.
- Serbia: They were qualified strongly by winning the games against Wales and Ireland, which are powerful teams.
GROUP F:
- Germany (Past Winner): After the loss against France in EuroCup 2016, Germany has been repaired successfully.
- Mexico: Some players are in the climax of their careers and this point could be an advantage to pass the fifth game in this World Cup, which has been expected by fans long time ago.
- Sweden: This team has been renovated; players want to give the best and they are extremely disciplined and hard-working.
- South Korea: In Qualifiers, this team had some weaknesses in defense and offense. In this country, most of the people do not expect the team to have a great performance in this Cup.
GROUP G:
- Belgium: The team had a successful performance in the Qualifiers. Nevertheless, this team is alarmed because the playing style is too defensive with many offensive players fighting for the ball.
- Panama: This team considers this Cup as an experience to learn and have fun. Thanks to a solid defense, discipline and counterattacks this country is now participating.
- Tunisia: This team could be qualified in the World Cup after 12 years. Although, it was not an easy task.
- England: This team has had some changes that have made a younger group, but people is doubtful about the advances of the team after the EuroCup in 2016, when they lost against Iceland.
GROUP H:
- Poland: The team has been strong and they are trying to focus on defense. Consistency and leadership could qualify this group after 12 years.
- Senegal: This team is strong in all the areas and is participating for second time in a World Cup.
- Colombia: This team expects to have the same results as in the last World Cup, where they could pass the quarterfinals. However, this group needs a renovation in the defense, more consistency with the team stars and more players in the front.
- Japan: This team is usually possessive but the new coach has demanded the players to counterattack, which has brought some arguments in the country.
