Kansas Jayhawks get outclassed in NCAA Final Four.

Good season Jayhawks! Winning a national championship in any sport is a difficult challenge and sometimes it just comes down to bad timing. Tonight the Kansas Jayhawks fall to Villanova in the men's NCAA Basketball Championships.

This season was full of plenty of ups and downs for the Jayhawks but tonigh it was evident that the experience and shooting percentage of Villanova from the field was just to much for this young group to deal with. Kansas has made several come from behind comebacks this year but doing it against this team and on this stage is a whole different animal.

I'm sure the fans over at K-State are happy to see a beat down like this happen to KU on the National Stage butthey actually had a legit shot to get in this game as well.....but failed again. LOLOLOL

Look for the Jayhawks to be a much better team next year. The recruiting class is solid this year and two of the best players will be coming back.

Sort:

At least they did not lose to a number 16, and Villanova is just the best team out there. Playing as unit, they look good.

They had a good run this year, I hope the kids get back to classes and learn.

They had a great season and in a tournament full of upsets they stayed strong and fought their way to the final four. If they had played any other team other than Villanova I think they would be in the championship game. Villanova is on a destiny type of run right now and I don’t think anyone will stop them. Especially not Michigan who put an end to the miracle run that Loyola Chicago (WHO??) went on!!!

Though it was painful to see Kansas Jayhawks loss this way but I think it has been a good season so far making it to the final four against all odds. I hope next season will be better

Udoka Azubuike is a very nice kid, and his back story is incredibly, but unfortunately he blew this game for them. Villanova came out on a 22-4 run, after Spellman (Villanovas Center) hit 3 early 3's. I blame Bill Self, who should have known Azubuike wouldnt be able to defend out to the three point line. Not only is that unnatural for him as a power center, he just came off a leg injury that limits his ability to close out.

Villanova vs Michigan is going to be a closer game than people think. Its all about matchups, and Wagner on Michigan can match up with any player on the court (and they also can throw a 4 guard lineup at Villanova.)

I thought a lot of things. I thought my Jayhawks would eat shit in the Big 12. Instead, they broke an unbeatable record. I thought they'd lose in the 2nd round of the NCAA Tourney. They went to the Final Four. They defied all expectations. Thank you
