Near Belgian AG win, Coddens 6th in Xterra Greece
Xterra Europ tour took a stop in Greece last weekend. It is one of the most popular races due to the breathtaking scenery. Quite some Belgians on the starting grid. Pro with Kris Coddens and Tim Van Daele, they took 6th and 11th. AG with Ced Smets who fell 4 seconds short of a win in his category.
Kris Coddens was not fully recovered from the Xterra EC one week earlier and is planning for a blood exam to find out why. In June Xterra Belgium is planned and he hope to bring his A-game.

Tim Van Daele came 11th and showed honors to his parted friend Jonas Baten. "11th after this strongly occupied Xterra Greece is good for me. I came out of the water in Kris Coddens' feet, found my rhythm on the MTB and managed to move up in the field. I started running in 12th, but tried to go easy on my ankle in the descents," says Tim.
Ced Smets lost some time in the swim but got himself back on track on the bike. In a sprint with Ezachiel Rencker he fell just a few seconds short for the win. Joerie Deleebeeck came 7th in M25 and Florian Badoex 4th M30.
Arthus Forrisier won the race to Marcello Ugazio and Arthur Serrieres. The female race was won by Nicole Walters ahead of Helena Erbenova. Maud Golsteyn 6th. Lars Van der Eerden 4th M40, Quirijn Waaijenberg 2nd M16 and dad Mark bronze M55. Marcel Molendijk won the M50.
