Neymar stole the show as Paris Saint German defeated Manchester United at Old Trafford

For some time now, I have seen Manchester United putting up good performance. With 9 matches played in the English premier league, they are now occupying 9th position, a position worth more better than where they were seating some weeks back. I had to do some research to know what their logic is. We know defeating any team in the English premier league is not that easy at all. This is the more reason team in the English premier league are rated so powerful. Even those in the relegation zone of the English Premier league can defeat some team occupying good position in other league.

It was really a pay back time for Manchester United as it was the home team that first of all defeated Paris Saint German at their away fixture. The match ended 2-1 in favour of Manchester United and after that, their level of confidence sky rocket. They started getting more wins in their matches. This a lone triggers me to have interest watching their matches.

Finally, the second encounter for the group stages came and it was Manchester United that hosted Paris Saint German at their home soil. It was the away team, Paris Saint German that got the lead in the 6th minute through Neymar opener. Neymar was a player who was so in form in the match. The pressure keeps pilling up on Manchester United not until Rashford .M. equalize for Manchester United in the 32 minute and this seems like Manchester United are back in the match.

That goal scored decided the first half as the two side maintained a balance. Second half started and I was expecting Manchester United to be the side that will change the score line. My thinking ended like that and it was Marquinhos that gave Paris Saint German the second goal in the 69th minute. Immediately this goal falls in, Fred was given a red card and that places Manchester United with a player short.

When the red card came in place, I wrote the match off as I was very optimistic Paris Saint German will get all the 3 point. My prediction was right, Neymar scored in the 90min+ as Paris Saint German walk away with all three (3) point. This places them on same point with Manchester United but Paris Saint German is seating on first position base on goal difference. Any way, let us watch and see how things unfolds and who will occupy the top position in that group stage.
