Like MotoGP, competition in the Moto2 class also just completed four racing series. However, one of the riders in the class had to retreat from the championship.

Is a Malaysian racer, Zulfahmi Khairuddin, who was forced to part with the SIC Racing team.

After a disappointing result on all four races, Khairuddin and the team agreed to split up.

"After the last race at Jerez, I realized that it was very difficult to make progress since the championship season began," Khairuddin was quoted as saying by BolaSport.com from Crash.

"After thinking carefully and discussing with the team, I decided that the best way for me was to end my career in Moto2," he added.

Zulfahmi Khairuddin previously competed in the World Superbike class and just moved to Moto2 this year.

Khairuddin was brought in to replace his compatriot, Hafiz Syahrin, whose promotion to the MotoGP class.

Unfortunately, Khairuddin failed to show a satisfactory performance throughout the season.

In the Qatar Moto2 opener series, Khairuddin finished in 28th position. In the second and third races of the series, each he finished in the position of the 26th and 27th.
