Does Brock Lesnar deserve the title shot?

in #sport6 years ago

Fun Fact: Brock Lesnar may be the toughest combat sportsman in the world right now.

Steroid testing in the UFC, implemented in 2015, changed the face of the sport. So many top athletes took a massive dive. The quality has not been the same since.

And I hate to break it to anyone who doesn't believe the value of steroids, but if Stipe Miocic is drug-free - which, based on Stipe's physique, is quite possible - then I have no reason to believe that a juiced up jacked Brock Lesnar may well be better than Stipe - and the new heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier [did Stipe underestimate DC? What happened here?].

I honestly think that the reason why Brock Lesnar fought Mark Hunt at UFC 200 - despite KNOWING that he would fail the drug test - is because, in his heart and in his mind, he NEEDED to know if he was still one of the top 10 toughest men on the planet, and I think beating a #8 Mark Hunt [who passed his steroid tests], proved that to Brock.

Brock didn't care about the steroids - he just wanted to know he was still a top 10 fighter, and thus, could have been in the top ten in the UFC since he retired in 2011, after his loss to a massively juiced up Alistair "Overoids" Overeem at UFC 141 in late December.

Your post is not really related to the title, lol...

He doesn't deserve it at all. However that being said he has proven to be a big money maker and PPV seller. Daniel Cormier has been through so much shit and while Brock doesn't deserve it Daniel deserves the big money that he will get from the fight.

Also I believe there is no chance at all Brock would beat Stipe.
