Prelude to the Russian World Cup 2018 (Group A and B)

We are a few days away from witnessing the biggest sporting event in the world and that has inspired me to make this publication.

Soccer is a beautiful sport that will be enjoyed in all parts of the world. And why not? We must also find it in Steemit.

I will be presenting interesting data of the 32 selections that have qualified to the contest. Below I show details of the first 2 groups of the contest. I hope you like it and that we can share good comments.

Russia

The Host

It will look for an epic participation. Because the Russians have not had good presentations in their last official matches, they also failed in the Confederations Cup. Russia will participate for the eleventh time in a World Cup and from Mexico in the 70 they will not make it to the quarterfinals.

He is the great Pharaoh of this selection. The Liverpool player has awakened his great skills and coach Hector Cúper knows he has a great star on his team. This will be the third participation of Egypt in the World Cups and one of its goals will be to pass the first round for the first time.

Saudi Arabia will be present at the World Cup from the first minute, because together with Russia, they will play the opening match. This will be his fifth World Cup after being present in USA (1994), France (1998), Korea-Japan (2002) and Germany (2018). Juan Antonio Pizzi is the coach of the team and has his star player Mohammed Al-Sahlawi

Uruguay

The Charrúas or La Celeste

They make up the most fearsome and historic duo of all time in Uruguay, 49 and 39 goals respectively. Coach Óscar Tabárez has managed to achieve great prizes directing the team. They were in second place in the eliminatory and this will be the thirteenth time they participate, winning the prestigious Trophy twice. Uruguay will face in its first game with the Egypt team, it will be a very attractive game.

You will feel at home, having been playing at the Rubin Kasan for 5 years. His coach, the Portuguese coach Queiroz, former coach of Real Madrid, has been in charge of this team for 6 years. This will be his fifth participation in the World Cups after Argentina 78, France 98, Germany 2006 and Brazil 2014. This will be the second one in a row.

He is one of the many foreigners that this selection has. During the last game to classify only one player of the eleven starters, he was born in Morocco. This will be the fifth World Cup of this selection after Mexico 70, Mexico 86, USA 94 and France 98. He is the top scorer of the team of all time and was one of the most symbolic in the triumph of the last European Championship. He brings with him an exquisite palmares with Real Madrid, and this could be his last World Cup. This will be his Seventh World Cup to be present in England 66, Mexico 86, Korea-Japan 2002, Germany 2006, South Africa 2010 and Brazil 2014. Coach Fernando Santos has a great staff to take the Lusus to try to win the great world.

With this they have fifteen World Cups from Italy 34, Brazil 50, Chile 62, England 66, Argentina 78, Spain 82 , Mexico 86, Italy 90, USA 94, France 98, Korea-Japan 2002, Germany 2006, South Africa 2010 and Brazil 2014. Coach Lopetegui comes from replacing Vicente del Bosque. And they hope to be champions for the second time in their history.

Nice overview. Soccer is truly international and a wonderful sport to watch. It's also one of the few high level sports where athletes can have different body types and still succeed.
