Rooney Makes his Return to the Blues

The Manchester United star Wayne Rooney has finally made a decision to move back to his old club Everton. Rooney joined Everton in 2002 and moved to Manchester United in 2004 where he stayed for 13 years, until this day, which is the day he returns to the club he started at.

Rooney was one of Everton's youngest players at the age of 16. He scored his first league goal for Everton which broke Arsenal's un beaten run. Now at the age of 31 he will be back to breaking records and scoring goals for Everton.

Once a blue always a blue ☺

In my opinion, this was a well made decision. Everton finished 7th place in the league, just under Man United. Maybe they will even finish higher next year with Rooney back on their side. He may have something to prove!

Everton have also sold their striker Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United. Good deal ☺
