Why I wake up at 5am to workout

in #sport8 years ago (edited)

I have never been a big athlete, I barely played football when I was 12. The only thing I enjoyed doing ,and still do, was dancing. My friends and I used to have a breakdance crew back in the days.

I passed almost 6 years without doing any sport and I became so skinny that my friend would make fun of me. So I decided to make a CHANGE and I subscribed for a gym membership for the first time of my life. At the begging I would workout 3 days a week and the results came fast. Then I get a job and had to go to gym in the evening. I did it for 3 years but it was horrible, you could barely get a treadmill because it was the rush hour.

Last year, in order to afford a trip to Canada, I had to get a second job. So now I couldn't go to the gym anymore. This is the moment when I took the most challenging decision of my life. So I would go to the gym from 5.30am to 7.30am then go to work from 8am to 4.30pm and finally go to my extra job from 5.15pm to 9pm. I did it for about 3 months, it was tough but it was worth it since I paid my trip only with the money I earned from my extra job.

Even if I lost my second job, I kept going to the gym early in the morning. Believe me, I have never felt so good and my body is the proof. Of course I still need to eat healthy food but since I burn most of the fat before having my breakfast, I can eat almost whatever I want. The best part of it, is that I don't take any supplements, shakes or pills. I am a huge fan of chicken so I just stick to natural protein.

A morning workout is the best way :

  • To go to bed earlier
  • To work for you before working for your boss
  • To stay energized throughout the day
  • To burn more fat
  • To don't have to wait for the chest press
  • To stay focus at the gym
  • To avoid any excuses
  • To save time after work
  • ...

It transformed my life guys!!!

Would you wake up at 5am to go to the gym ?
