- This winter transfer window has been wonderful for the gunners. Although they lost Sanchez to a rival but got Mikhi as part of the transfer bargain. They also acquired one of the finest African players Aubameyang to bolster their attack. To cap a successful winter window, star man Ozil extended his contract to 2021 and their bracing up for the Corabao Cup final in a few weeks.

- The Uruguayan started the season in poor form, not scoring as he usually does and this was a huge concern for his coach Velverade as his team was fully dependent on ever brilliant Lionel. 2018 has been a prolific year so far for Suarez which has seen him score nine goals in eight appearances. This is more than Messi and Ronaldo with eight and four goals respectively in all competitions. Suarez was instrumental in Barcelona latest victory against Valencia where his goal proved decisive as Barcelona came out on top as the match ended 1-0.

- As the day passes, the Chelsea managers job looks uncertain. Midweeks 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth capped a frustrating night at Stamford Bridge as the blues were messy at the back after loosing young Dane Christiensin to injury. Conte has been having issues with the board for a long time now over transfer and it's looking likely he may resign or get fired by summer. His nation's team is open for him should he decide to call it quit with Chelsea.
