End of Season Epic Gold!

My daily quest rewards have been less than stellar the past few days. A couple nice cards, but nothing spectacular. Here's the best of what I've opened lately.

Then the end of the season hit. I was able to get up to Gold 1 this season, just through competing daily quests. Not bad for having mostly level 4 summoners, IMO. As I started to open my season rewards, it looked to be more of the same. A few rares, an epic or two, but then, in the last group, I turned over a Manticore. And then....it started glowing! When the light show was over, I was left starting at this:

!!! I was kind of stunned. This is the 2nd most valuable card I've opened in the Splinterlands, and I'm sure it's due to the alchemy potion I bought. I was starting to wonder if that potion was worth it, but now I'm pretty happy with my purchase. It seems to have paid off.
